Cherokee Pilgrimage: “Pain and Hope”

Thirty-one clergy and laity from districts throughout the Western North Carolina Conference recently made a three-day pilgrimage to Cherokee, North Carolina. They journeyed together under the theme Pain and Hope — a title that would prove fitting at every stop along the way.

Rev. Meredith Martin Named Conference Treasurer and Director of Administrative Services

The Western North Carolina Conference is pleased to announce that Rev. Meredith Poe Martin has been named Conference Treasurer and Director of Administrative Services, effective July 1. An ordained deacon in full connection in the Western North Carolina Conference, Rev. Martin brings more than 15 years of executive leadership experience overseeing complex nonprofit organizations, multi-million-dollar budgets, strategic operations, and large teams serving communities across North Carolina.
